Born on September 18, 1973, Mark Shuttleworth is a South African entrepreneur and Internet millionaire. He’s the world’s second paying space tourist, and also the first South African in space. In 2009 he stepped down as the CEO of Canonical. Since then, Mark Shuttleworth provides leadership for the Ubuntu Linux operating system, trying to conquer the open source world with innovative and powerful software, such as the upcoming Ubuntu Touch operating system for smartphones.
