Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
are resisting a demand by Microsoft Corp. to turn over research
gathered by two professors on Netscape Communications Corp., saying
it threatens their First Amendment rights and ability to conduct
research, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
