NodeBB is a Node.js based forum software built for the modern web which uses MongoDB or Redis as the database system. In this tutorial, we describe the NodeBBB installation process on the FreeBSD 12 using Nginx as the reverse proxy, MongoDB as the database, and acme.sh and Let’s Encrypt for HTTPS.
