Having all kinds of bookmarks in many different web browsers, I decided to look for a command line tool which can help me manage them in various output formats. As a Python coder, I finally decided to go with buku, which according to the official documentation, except its console version also exposes a front-end user interface hosted on a local web server.

Rich in features, buku can auto-import bookmarks from three major web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Chromium. Able to store the data to a sqlite database, the bookmark manager can also open a specific url in the browser.
