Install Apache CouchDB 1.6.1 on RHEL/CentOS/Fedora and Debian/Ubuntu

Apache CouchDB is an open source document-oriented database with NoSQL. NoSQL means, it doesn’t have any database schema, tables, rows, etc, that you will see in MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle. This is our new series on Apache CouchDB and this article explains how to install CouchDB 1.6.1 on RHEL/CentOS 7/6, Fedora 22-15, Debian 8/7 and Ubuntu 15/14 systems using source tarball installation.
