Intank, Calxeda Launch ARM Server for Big Data

Can Big Data software and low-power hardware coexist? Inktank, the company behind the Ceph open source distributed storage system, and Calxeda, think so. This week, the companies announced a partnership to optimize Ceph for low-power servers in an effort that they say will provide a “transformative storage platform” for Big Data.
