Intel Announces 10th-Gen “Comet Lake” Mobile Processors, Its Most Powerful Yet

The tech giant continues to improve its Intel Core lineup of mobile processors, which are used all over the world in numerous laptops from various manufacturers, including Apple’s latest MacBook models. Dubbed “Comet Lake” the 10th-generation Intel Core mobile processors come in i3, i5, and i7 variants with up to 6 cores, and double-down on performance promising increased productivity and multitasking on everyday use. Intel’s 10th-generation “Comet Lake” mobile processors feature up to 6 cores and 12 threads, up to 4.9 GHz max turbo frequency, and up to 12MB Intel Smart Cache for the i7 model, configurable up to 25W for maximum performance for the Intel U series, configurable down to 4.5W for 4-core fanless designs for the Intel Y series, up to 1.15 GHz graphics frequency, and LPDDR4x, LPDDR3, and DDR4 memory with speeds up to 2666 MT/s.
