Dubbed Unofficial WhatsApp for Desktop, the project is, in fact, a wrapper for the official WhatsApp Web App introduced by Facebook a while ago. However, it has been modified and tweaked to offer you a simple, and beautiful desktop client for WhatsApp. With WhatsApp for Desktop users can chat without distractions and restriction on their favorite operating system, no matter if it’s a GNU/Linux distribution like Ubuntu or big names like Apple’s OS X and Microsoft’s Windows OSes.
