IPFire 2.17 Core Update 93 is here to update the ddns tool, IPFire’s dynamic DNS update client, to version 008, a release that promises to be more robust against network errors on the server and path errors at the provider, which translates into frequent retries of updates. Additionally, ddns 008 fixes a crash that occurred when attempting to update the namecheap records, and introduces support for the DNSmadeEasy and joker.com provider.
