IPFire 2.19 Core Update 107 is the latest, most stable and advanced version of the IPFire 2.19 series, and it looks like it finally patches that nasty “Dirty COW” Linux kernel vulnerability that was fixed by Linus Torvalds himself awhile ago in all supported Linux kernel branches. IPFire 2.19 Core Update 107 is a small update, coming only one week after the major IPFire 2.19 Core Update 106 release. Among other interesting improvements, it adds a patch that attempts to improve support for Intel processors with AES-NI to provide better encryption with 256 and 192 bit key lengths.
