[ Thanks to Guy for this
report. ]

American ISDN support has been added to the Linux `HiSax’
ISDN sub-system and `isdn4kutils’ package, which have been widely
used in Europe
and elsewhere for many years.

See the Traverse Technologies site www.ttcomms.com for details of the
NETspider-U, a new internal ISDN modem card that is fully supported
under Linux. The NETspider-U supports the NI-1 American standard
ISDN protocol, and HiSax drivers are available for Linux releases
2.0.36 to 2.2.x.
