finally went live last month and already the benefits of the
service are highly visible.
Google is unique amongst search
engines in that it has shunned the idea of trying to be a portal
like so many search engines nowadays. Similarly with aspirations of
becoming a media company – Google doesn’t want to do that – it
wants to search and search well, and the amazing thing is it does
search extremely well.”
