The truth is that KDE Neon’s daily builds are currently based on the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, but if you are a KDE and Ubuntu fan, that shouldn’t bother you much, especially that Ubuntu 16.04 proves to be a pretty stable and reliable base for any GNU/Linux operating system.
