The Kubuntu Backports PPA has been upgraded today with the packages from the KDE Plasma 5.10.1 release, and users can now also update their Kubuntu 17.04 installations to the latest available KDE Plasma desktop environment. So please be aware that this is a major update. To update your Kubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) installations to KDE Plasma 5.10.1, open a terminal emulator (e.g. Konsole) and add the Kubuntu Backports PPA to your software sources list by running the first command listed below. Then use the second command to update your KDE Plasma 5 desktop environments.
