KDE Plasma 5.8.3 LTS arrives just two weeks after the second point release, namely KDE Plasma 5.8.2 LTS, which recently made its way into the software repositories of various rolling GNU/Linux distributions, including openSUSE Tumbleweed, and adds a total of 46 changes across various core components. These include the KWin window manager, Plasma Discover package manager, Breeze icon theme, Plasma Addons, Plasma Desktop, Plasma Audio Volume Control, Plasma Workspace, as well as the Powerdevil power management daemon and User Manager, which no longer ask for root (system administration) permission when it is not the case.
