KDE Wants Users to Be in Control of Their Digital Lives, Enjoy Freedom & Privacy

It all started earlier this year, when the company invited the KDE contributors and users to participate in a survey regarding KDE’s strategy for the future in order for them to ponder where they stand as a community and what they want to achieve in the coming years. The survey showed them that there was no explicit vision, nor strategy for the KDE project, so they started working on a common view during the Akademy annual KDE conference for KDE developers, users, and contributors. And the final result was that they want users to be in control of their digital life and enjoy freedom and privacy.
