KDevelop 5.0.4 is here exactly three months after the launch of the third point release, which introduced improvements for GitHub authentication handling, among many other bug fixes. It’s a major update that appears to add a total of 66 changes across the kdevelop, kdevplatform, kdev-php, and kdev-python components. In the meantime, the development cycle of the upcoming KDevelop 5.1 major release continues at a slow pace, and you should be able to get an early taste of its features if you download and install the Alpha builds.
