Among the coolest new things implemented in the Kodi 17 Beta 4 release, we can mention the addition of ARMv8A 64-bit builds for the Android mobile platform, improved playback of DVD ISO files, better relative seeking for video playback, improved gapless music playback, and support for changing the channel group in PVR. It also looks like the hardware decoding for various MPEG2 files and DVDs has been greatly improved for AMD Radeon graphics cards, there’s better aspect ratio calculation for 3D modes, the NVIDIA Shield TV controller is now fully supported, and multiple memory leaks were fixed.
