Krita 3.0.1 Coming September 5, First Development Builds Are Out Now for Testing

Yes, that’s right, we’re talking about Krita 3.0.1, which is expected to land in a final, production-ready state on September 5, 2016. Development already started, and it looks like a log of bugs reported by users since the Krita 3.0 release have been smashed, such as some memory leaks with various graphics cards, and crashes with cheap tablets. Besides the numerous bug fixes, Krita 3.0.1 also promises some new features, such as the ability to export your work to either animated GIFs or video clips, which is currently work in progress. Soft-proofing support will also be implemented in the first point release of Krita 3.0, along with several other goodies that are yet to be revealed as part of the next development builds.
