The KDE Plasma 5.11.5 desktop environment arrived a couple of days ago as the last maintenance update to the short-lived KDE Plasma 5.11 series. While this means that KDE Plasma 5.11 reached end of life and won’t receive further updates, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t install KDE Plasma 5.11.5 on your GNU/Linux distro. In fact, users are urged to update to the KDE Plasma 5.11 maintenance release as soon as possible as it fixes over 30 bugs across multiple core components, such as the Plasma Discover package manager, KWin window and composite manager, as well as Plasma Desktop and Plasma Workspace.
