The KDE Project released earlier this week the third bugfix update to their long-term supported KDE Plasma 5.12 desktop environment, and Ubuntu/Kubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) users are among the first to install it. The update brings an impressive list of improvements for the Plasma Discover package manager. While Kubuntu/Ubuntu 17.10 users are already receiving the most recent stable KDE Plasma packages, it looks like Ubuntu 18.04 (Bionic Beaver) early adopters will have to wait a little longer for the new updates, as the upcoming operating system is currently in Beta freeze and the repositories are blocked.
