Last Krita 2.9 Release Adds New Features, Fixes 150 Bugs, Krita 3.0 Coming Soon

Krita 2.9.7 has been made available for download and adds numerous new features, such as the addition of Wolthera’s Tangent Normal Brush engine, fresh new icons for high-dpi screens, improvements to the Wrap-around mode, new color space selector, and updated brushes for improved performance. There’s also memory handling enhancements, OpenEXR 2.2 support in the Windows build of Krita, better Photoshop PSD support, anf improved GIMP compatibility.
