OpenRA 20161015 is the latest stable update, as announced by developer Oliver Brakmann on the project’s website a few days ago. While OpenRA is still working to add support for the second generation of Command & Conquer games, including C&C: Tiberian Sun, players received many enhancement for the C&C: Tiberian Dawn, C&C: Red Alert, and Dune 2000 games that are already contained in the new version. It also looks like the improved OpenRA game content installer can now automatically install the campaign briefing videos (finally!). However, there’s an ugly side of this functionality, as players will have to reinstall the game assets when launching the OpenRA 20161015 update for the first time because it installs the new content into a different location than the one used in previous versions.
