LibreOffice 6.0 just exited beta testing and the development cycle will continue this week with the first Release Candidate, which should be available to download by the end of the week as The Document Foundation plans a third bug hunting session just before the Christmas holidays, on December 22, 2017. This would be the last development version of LibreOffice 6.0 to be released in 2017, as the development cycle will continue throughout the month of January with two more Release Candidate (RC) builds, on the week of January 8 and the week of January 22 respectively. The final release of LibreOffice 6.0 is due in late January 2018.
