According to the German site Linucks.net, Linux Weekly News may
been a tad shrill and incorrect in proclaiming that a Cisco patent
for NAT could pose a serious threat to the future of Linux (see the
full article here). How does
Linuks.net come to the conclusion? Because they actually bothered
to ask Cisco about what was happening. You can read Cisco’s direct
