According to Linus Torvalds, Linux Kernel 4.2 RC2 is a normal Release Candidate build that includes updated drivers, especially for things like DRM, improvements for the ARM, MIPS, PA-RISC, and x86 architectures, optimizations for the Btrfs file system, as well as perf tool build fixes. Those of you who want to take this RC build for a test drive can download Linux Kernel 4.2 Release Candidate 2 right now from the kernel.org website.
