Linus Torvald’s SSD breaks, halts Linux kernel development

Uh oh! It looks like Linus’ SSD died and stopped Linux development in its tracks temporarily. It’s a bit scary that a dead SSD could put the brakes on Linux like this. Granted, it’s a very short term bump in the road. But still, it sort of underscores how dependent Linux is on Linus.
