Fred Mobach writes:

This week the German C’T magazine shows up with 5 interesting
and technical stories on Linux on 15 pages. At their website is stated :

“Linux transparent

Verwaltungsinstanz. Wer in die Tiefen der Linux-Konfiguration
eintauchen möchte, kommt um eine nähere
Beschäftigung mit den verschiedenen Systembestandteilen nicht
herum.

  • Komponenten eines Linux-Systems (at http://www.heise.de/ct/99/12/162/)
  • Bootmanager Lilo
  • Die Power der Kommandozeile
  • Systemkonfiguration mit Init-Skripten
  • X Window konfigurieren”

Babelfish translation :

“Almost everything to the system configuration with Windows is
central in the Registry summarized, however a majority of the
entries is not documented. With Linux, however, everything is in
the best way revealed, but a central administrative instance is
missing. Who would like to dive into the depths of the Linux
configuration, does not come around a closer occupation with the
different system constituents around.”

Only the first story is on their site, but the other stories are
also technical, clear and o.k.
