Linux kernel 3.14.55 LTS is a normal release that introduces improvements to the ARM, ARM64, Hexagon, m68k, MIPS, PowerPC, and x86 hardware architectures, various changes to the Btrfs, CIFS, and JBD2 filesystems, networking updates (mostly for Netfilter), as well as sound, perf, and KVM (Kernel Virtual Machine) fixes.
