Linux 3.14 is a long-term supported kernel branch that should receive maintenance updates for a couple of months, until August 2016. There are a few Linux kernel-based operating systems out there are still using this kernel branch, such as Google’s Chrome OS, so it is wise to update your system as soon as possible to the Linux kernel 3.14.73 LTS release even if it’s a small one that only changes 25 files, with 798 insertions and 758 deletions.
