Linux Kernel 3.8 Reaches End of Life (EOL)

Along with Linux kernel 3.9.2, 3.0.78 LTS and 3.4.45 LTS comes the thirteenth and last maintenance release of Linux kernel 3.8, as announced by Greg Kroah-Hartman on May 11, 2013. Linux kernel 3.8.13 brings a lot of changes to the 3.8.x branch, as you can see from the raw changelog, but unfortunately it also reached End-Of-Life (EOL), which means that it will no longer be supported and all users are urged to upgrade to the stable 3.9.x branch.
