Linux kernel 4.0.4 is here to fix numerous issues for the ARM hardware architecture, as well as to update many drivers, especially for ACPI, MMC, and GPU (Radeon and Intel i915) devices. It no longer sets up audio on ASICS that don’t support audio in the Radeon driver, addresses a runaway interruptible timeout in the VFIO driver, and repairs SBS hangs on MacBooks by adding 5 us delay to the ACPI / SBS driver.
