Linux kernel 4.5.2 adds minor improvements to the Btrfs, OverlayFS, NFS, and EXT4 filesystems, as well as to the ARM, ARM64 (AArch64), MIPS, PA-RISC, PowerPC (PPC), s390, and x86 architectures. Core kernel, crypto, and sound changes are also present. Moreover, the networking stack received various enhancements as well, in particular for things like IPv6, IPv4, DSA (Distributed Switch Architecture), Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP), Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP), the mac80211 framework, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), and the XFRM IP framework.
