Linux Kernels 4.10.9, 4.9.21 LTS and 4.4.60 LTS Brings Many XFS Improvements

The Linux 4.10.9, 4.9.21 LTS and 4.4.60 LTS kernels are now the latest versions of the kernel branches mentioned above, and they come exactly one week after the release of their previous maintenance updates, namely Linux kernels 4.10.8, 4.9.20 LTS and 4.4.59 LTS. The difference is that these are bigger patches, changing 91 files, with 1229 insertions and 1067 deletions for Linux kernel 4.10.9, and 87 files, with 1332 insertions and 1109 deletions for Linux kernel 4.9.21 LTS. We didn’t say anything above about changes of the Linux 4.4.60 LTS kernel because it’s a small update this time, changing a total of 28 files, with 387 insertions and 133 deletions, and it looks like most of the patch are updated drivers (ACPI, Radeon, MD, RTC, SCSI, TTY, USB). As for the Linux 4.10.9 and 4.9.21 LTS kernels, they bring lots of improvements to the XFS file system and PA-RICS architecture, as well as sound, mm, x86, and ARM bug fixes.
