These new kernels come just one week after their previous releases to add more x86 updates to protect users against the Meltdown and Spectre security vulnerabilities disclosed earlier this month. They also include various updated GPU, InfiniBand, USB, crypto, sound, networking drivers, as well as some core networking changes. Linux kernel 4.14.14 changes a total of 130 files, with 2524 insertions and 542 deletions, Linux kernel 4.9.77 LTS changes 112 files, with 2306 insertions and 466 deletions, Linux kernel 4.4.112 LTS changes 90 files, with 1811 insertions and 523 deletions, and Linux kernel 3.18.92 changes 38 files, with 487 insertions and 192 deletions.
