Linux magazine team quits, creates new profit-donating mag

The editorial team behind Linux Format has walked out, and started their own social enterprise to produce Linux Voice. This new magazine will give 50% of its profits back to the community, and freely license its content after 9 months. It raises the question: will it encourage other magazines to do the same?
