In a humorous, unofficial ad, done for Gary Johnson’s Presidential campaign, Linux makes an appearance early in the video. The ad features candidate Johnson confronting Republican and Democratic zombies.

In the ad, Johnson walks down the steps of the New Hampshire State House in his signature blazer and peace sign shirt proclaiming that “We are not a mindless society! We care about things!”

The linux appearance starts at 0:08 where you can see a room full of computer screens, 4 of which show the classic wallpaper of Tux about to swat the MSN butterfly. The next scene (0.10) shows a Ubuntu screen (precise/12.04) running a repository update.
