We had just reported the other day, Linux Mint project leader Clement Lefebvre revealed the fact that the highly anticipated Linux Mint 18.1 release could arrive as soon as this coming weekend, but not before the upgrade path from Linux Mint 18 “Sarah” is fully functional for all users. So without any further ado, we’d like to invite our readers to download the official Linux Mint 18.1 “Serena” Cinnamon and MATE editions right now from the project’s FTP servers or through our web portal. Both 64- and 32-bit variants are in place, and there’s also MD5 checksums if you want to verify the ISO images for integrity.
