Dubbed Betsy, LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) 2 RC (Release Candidate) brings all the latest innovations that have been recently implemented in the Cinnamon and MATE desktop environments. It also incorporates all the goodies from the upstream Linux Mint operating system, as well as from Debian GNU/Linux. While it aims to be as easy to use as the mainstream Linux Mint editions, LDME is currently targeted at experienced Linux users.
