“Three of Colorado Linux Info Quest’s (CLIQ) board members
discussed the conference and expo and explained why it went off so
smoothly.”

“”The reason why it went off without a hitch was because of the
amount of preplanning we did,” Kevin Cullis, event coordinator for
Colorado Linux Users and Enthusiasts (CLUE), said. “We concentrated
on what we could get done in the amount of time we had and not go
overboard with doing too much,” Cullis continued.”

“The expo’s success was due, in large part, to the volunteers,
said Michael J. Hammel, CLIQ chairman. “The volunteers were pulled
together by Jef Barnhart, a late addition to our board of
directors,” Hammel said. “He culled volunteers from user groups,
friends of friends, coworkers, and just about any place else he
could find.”
