American ISDN support has been added to the Linux `HiSax’
ISDN sub-system and `isdn4kutils’ package, which have been widely
used in Europe and elsewhere for many years.

“Turn your Linux machine into a router/firewall/gateway with
connectivity at 64kbps, 128kbps or even 256kbps. See the Traverse
Technologies site www.ttcomms.com for details of the NETspider-U, a
new internal ISDN modem card that is fully supported under Linux.
The NETspider-U supports the NI-1 American standard ISDN protocol,
and HiSax drivers are available for Linux releases 2.0.36 to
2.2.x.”
