15 year veteran IT sales and marketing executive to
spearhead East Coast sales efforts.

“Penguin Computing Inc., leading provider of reliable Linux
systems for Internet serving, today announced that Howard Johnston,
a veteran IT sales and marketing executive, has joined the company
as eastern region sales director. Johnston brings to Penguin
Computing more than 15 years of high-technology industry expertise
in senior-level sales and marketing positions with American
Megatrends Inc., Tyan Computer Corp. and Mylex Corp. This new
addition coincides with Penguin Computing’s announcement today that
it has established a presence in the East Coast with a new sales
office in Atlanta.”

“Johnston will spearhead the Atlanta office operations and will
oversee the expansion of Penguin Computing’s strategic sales
efforts in the eastern US. The eastern US region encompasses key IT
markets, areas often referred to collectively as “the high tech
corridor” that includes major hubs such as New York City, Boston,
Chicago and Washington DC.”
