Powered by Ubuntu’s Linux kernel 3.19.0-22.22 packages, Lubuntu 15.10 Alpha 1 is just a bugfix release and it is still built around the LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) project. The final version will be based on Linux kernel 4.1 LTS, but it would appear that the LXQt desktop environment has not been included in Lubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) Alpha 1 because it is still in development.
