MacWEEK.com: An interview with Tim Berners-Lee

“The British physicist who founded the Web in 1989 while working
at the CERN particle-physics laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland, he
now directs the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which sets
technical standards for the Web. IDG caught up with Berners-Lee on
his recent whirlwind book tour for “Weaving the Web: The Original
Design and Ultimate Destiny of the World Wide Web by Its
