Dubbed ???A Gallery of Fine Creatures???, MediaGoblin 0.8.0 is here to bring significant improvements the client to server API component, which means that the software will no longer depend on a web browser. In other words, you will be able to access and upload media files to and from a MediaGlobin server using nothing but a Pump.io compatible client, such as Dianara or Pumpa. Of course, if you have the skills, you can also write your own client using PyPump.
