Mesa 17.1.0 RC3 comes exactly one week after the release of the second RC milestone, and, according to the mailing list announcement or the changelog attached at the end of the article for your reading pleasure, it adds about 33 changes with various improvements for the RadeonSI, Intel i965, and Gallium drivers, as well as for Travis CI. That being said, we invite you all to download the source tarball of Mesa 17.1 Release Candidate 3, compile and install it on your GNU/Linux distribution, and report bugs if you encounter any. Mesa 17.1.0 is coming very soon and will be the most advanced series of the open-source graphics stack shipping with numerous improvements and performance optimizations for AMD Radeon and Intel GPUs.
