Prominent new features of MKVToolNix 13.0.0 include the ability for mkvmerge’s MPEG TS reader to output information about multiple programs during verbose and JSON identification, as container properties, the ability to close tabs in MKVToolNix GUI by pressing the middle mouse button. A new “program” column was added to the tracks list of the multiplex tool, which contains the service name for TV stations (e.g. Arte HD) for certain container types like MPEG transport streams which consist of multiple programs, along with an improved dialog that asks users what to do with dropped files to remember the previous choice.
