MKVToolnix, one of the most popular open-source and cross-platform software for manipulating MKV (Matroska) files under GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems, has been updated today to version 7.9.0. The main attraction of the MKVToolnix 7.9.0 software is MKVToolNix GUI, which received numerous improvements, among which we can mention new context menu entries for tracks, support for aborting the current job, a new “additional command line options” dialog, and support for changing the interface’s language.
