“On 11 September the MARID co-chairs issued a statement of
concensus. I wrote about that statement in my 11 September piece
entitled The Jig Is Up! and I indicated in that piece that many of
the working group participants (including this writer) were
confused by the statement and had requested clarification. Today
(September 13th, 2004) we received that clarification as one of the
co-chairs of the MARID working group issued a pair of follow-ups to
their initial statement of concensus. What follows are copies of
the clarification messages (in their entirety) sent to the list by
Andy Newton and some of my own comments…”
