Mozilla Thunderbird 24 Officially Lands in Ubuntu

Officially announced by Mozilla on September 17, 2013, the Mozilla Thunderbird 24 email and newsgroup client introduces the ability to watch or ignore message threads, the ability to send emails to IDN based email addresses, various Chat fixes, better support for Twitter, IRC improvements, and various security fixes. All Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail), Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) users can update their Thunderbird email client to version 24.0 right now, using the Update Manager software.
